So my Defender was delivered without Land Rover fitting my fridge. I have been looking for a while at Hunters Fridge and after watching the fitting video several times and Duncan on the chat telling me that I would be able to do it! Thanks Duncan you were right!
So the delivery came next day as promised and I set to work taking my time watching the video.
I took my time and was able to remove all the trim. Mine was a little different as its the MY25 model so the centre console is slightly different.
If you follow the video it is easy and it only took me a few hours to complete. I love it!!!
Since picking the Defender up last year we’ve been on the hunt for the fridge to fit retrospectively. Looking high and low and even checking in at wreckers yards, none to be found anywhere!
The purchase and arrangement for fitting was quick, easy and professional - taking me through options and what was needed.
I opted to get Hunters to fit it and it was a great experience. I was talked through the process and similarly with the vehicle health check.
Fitting was quick, given the amount of effort required and fixtures needing to be removed. You can’t even tell the central console area was taken apart and then rebuilt. Exceptional job.
The fridge itself is great - with three options, you can keep things warm (if no cooling selected) or has two cooling options. Didn’t even realise there is a great LED strip halfway down the fridge until we were shown it fitted - great for finding things when it’s dark.
Really pleased with the fridge - yes it’s a little pricey, but that’s on Land Rover not Hunters.
Hunters were exceptional as I expected and will definitely be getting another visit!
