Dispatch times
We normally dispatch processed orders next working day on a 24 hour courier service. Some areas of the UK are not covered by a 24 hour service (please see postcode list above), in this instance we will endeavour to use the next fastest service available. Any references to "24 hour" or "next day" delivery services exclude weekends or UK bank holidays, and is offered as a service preference not a guarantee.
International Shipping
We use an automated service to provide prices for international delivery, in some cases a given combination of products may result in a higher than expected shipping cost. In this instance, we will contact you to discuss the options prior to shipping the order. Shipping times will vary depending on the delivery country, and a number of external factors. We will not guarantee international delivery times, or be held liable for any damage or loss caused by delays in shipping.
We will generally select the best shipping method as a compromise between cost and delivery times; if you have a need for expedited (or economy) delivery, please make a note on the order or get in touch before placing the order.
Tariffs, Taxes, Duties & International Returns
For all orders shipped outside of the United Kingdom, additional import charges may apply when the goods arrive in the destination country. These charges can include, but are not limited to, customs duties, import VAT or sales tax, tariffs, brokerage fees, clearance fees, and other local government charges.
These charges are determined by the customs authority and tax regulations of the destination country and are outside of our control. Different countries apply different rules, thresholds, and rates depending on the value of the goods and the type of products being imported. We strongly recommend that customers check with their local customs office, government authority, or tax office prior to placing an order to fully understand any potential import costs that may be payable.
The customer, as the importer of record, is solely responsible for payment of all import duties, taxes, tariffs, customs clearance fees, and any related charges associated with importing goods into their country. In most cases, these charges are collected directly by the shipping courier before delivery can be completed.
Please note that shipping carriers and customs authorities may occasionally apply estimated or adjusted import charges during the customs clearance process. Any disputes regarding import fees or customs assessments must be raised directly with the courier or customs authority responsible for the charges, as we are unable to control or amend these fees once the shipment is in transit.
Once an order has been dispatched from our warehouse, the original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable. This applies regardless of whether the shipment is subsequently refused, delayed in customs, abandoned, or returned to sender.
If an international shipment is returned to us for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Refused delivery
- Failure to pay import duties or taxes
- Failure to complete customs clearance requirements
- Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
- Unclaimed parcels
- Orders marked as “no longer required”
- Parcels automatically returned by the courier or customs authority
any costs incurred by us as a result of the return will be deducted from the customer’s refund.
These charges may include return shipping fees, customs handling charges, storage fees, brokerage fees, import duties charged on the return shipment, and UK re-import VAT or customs charges imposed when the goods re-enter the United Kingdom.
Please also note that international shipping costs are typically significantly higher for returned shipments, as couriers may apply additional administration and customs processing fees when goods are returned across international borders.
Where a returned parcel incurs charges that exceed the original shipping amount paid by the customer, we reserve the right to deduct the full amount of those charges from the refund issued.
By placing an international order with us, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and accept responsibility for any import-related charges and costs associated with the shipment and any subsequent return.
