Many customers have been affected by the world wide semiconductor shortage and have had their defenders downgraded with an analogue cluster.
This retrofit package overcomes that issue by installing the digital display to give the interior of the vehicle a much more aesthetically digital look.
When customers compare what's available on the market, it is important to notice the condition of the parts used for the retrofit. We use only brand new parts.
This service is only available for fitment at our workshop in Thetford.
Having come from a 2021 Defender to a 2023.5 model, I was really disappointed not to have the IDD, despite getting HUD and Clearsight, After reviewing videos and reviews I decided that Hunter’s Prestige were the best people to fit and program the new IDD dashboard.

The dash of MY23.5 year Defender now has the digital dashboard it was meant to have on delivery but omitted due to chip shortages -and it’s perfect, like driving a different L663. It gives me far more flexibility on overview depending if I’m driving on or off-road. The team did an amazing job, my Defender was treated with great care and the installation was brilliant. I was kept updated during the process both on progress and the technical side while waiting. I’ve been for retro fittings and software updates with my current 110 and previous 90 as well as buying products online and I’m always knocked out by the service and satisfaction with the products. Thoroughly recommend these guys and the unique services they offer. A round trip for me to Hunters may be over 6hrs but well worth it every time. Thanks guys.
