What Makes the Power Door Retrofit Special?
The Power Door Retrofit is no ordinary upgrade — it’s a highly technical and time-consuming process that requires numerous components and specialised JLR tooling to activate. Currently, this service is available for in-house fitment only and is exclusive to the new Range Rover. While we are known for our expertise with the Defender, we want to clarify that this retrofit is not yet available for the Defender — although we’ve received many questions about it already!
To ensure a smooth installation, we recommend pre-ordering this retrofit. Many components are often on backorder, so planning ahead allows us to source the correct parts from our trusted JLR dealer and avoid delays.

How the Power Doors Work

🔹 Brake Pedal Closure
Simply press the brake pedal to close the driver's door. No need to reach over or pull the door shut — ideal for quick and easy departures.
🔹 Interior Grab Handle Buttons
Each seat features a dedicated button on the grab handle to close the door. Rear passengers also have buttons at the end of each door card, making it easy to close doors with a quick tap — particularly useful in long-wheelbase models.
🔹 Pivi Pro Screen Control
The Pivi Pro infotainment screen allows you to open and close all doors (including the boot) individually or simultaneously with the touch of a button. If you have a chauffeur, they can control the doors for you — completely hands-free.
