The Hunters Prestige Side Step Kit for the new L663 Land Rover Defender is a perfect upgrade for your vehicle. This kit allows you to mount a set of steps on your car so you can easily access the roof and interior. The steps are made from high-quality aluminum, which makes it lightweight but very durable. It comes with all necessary mounting hardware to fit this product perfectly onto your Defender.

Our step kits are available for both the 90 and 110/130 in Black or Silver, with several styles of treadplate.

The newest addition to our range is the metal chequerplate finish in gloss black. Designed and manufactured by Hunters, this is our very own new side steps which goes well with our rear bumper chequerplate cover.

Please note, our chequerplate side steps are made of aluminium metal, not plastic which you usually find on the market.

All of our side steps come with all the necessary fitting kit including brackets, bolts and replacement clips.

Genuine Defender 90 Side Steps

Brilliant service, took my defender 90 in for replacement genuine side steps which only took 15 minutes to fit.

Really pleased with these, OEM quality but much improved look being in the black. Fitting was surprisingly easy. I would argue that you only need to the 8x main bolts that go up into the underside of the car and could get away without the smaller bolts which fix into the side of the sills. Doing so avoids the need to remove the plastic sill/rocker panel cover and front mudflaps/side panel. That also means no need to bust/replace loads of panel clips. Interested to know how this impacts on load capacity but unless you're expecting protection off-road (in which case you might want sliders) I assume this method is perfectly adequate. Note that other aftermarket products using the method I've used have a stated 300kg capacity. Whichever way you decide to fit, I'd thoroughly recommend these.
