Sports Steering Wheel - Flat Bottom

One of our earliest plans for an upgrade to the Defender interior was an improved steering wheel with a sportier look and feel. We have three finishes currently available: Alcantara, Full Nappa Leather and Perforated Full Nappa. All versions are hand-finished to an incredibly high standard and will complement the existing interior perfectly. We have designed them to improve upon the look and feel of the OE wheel, being slightly thicker and incorporating motorsport-inspired thumb grips and a flat bottom.

Our wheels are designed to be compatible with both the heated steering wheel option, and the V8-style paddle shifters.

Customer notice:

If your defender is a V8 and have the paddles already and would like to upgrade your steering wheel, please choose 'with paddles' option at checkout as we will send you the wheel with paddle cut out holes. If your defender is not the V8 and does not have the existing paddles, please select 'without paddles' option.

If you would like to retrofit the paddles to your defender, please refer to here. Please note, due to the activations required, this retrofit is Hunters HQ workshop only. However, if you can activate the paddles yourself, please get in touch with us for ordering the steering wheel with paddles.
